Anne Lee is the child of immigrants from South Korea

Fellowship awarded to support work towards a JD in Law at Columbia University

ANNE LEE is a partner at Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C. At Covington, Anne represents clients in complex commercial and antitrust litigation. She also represents clients in connection with civil and criminal investigations before the DOJ and FTC, and advises clients on a range of antitrust issues including compliance and merger analysis.

Anne was born in Lafayette, Indiana, to parents of Korean heritage, and grew up in Charleston, West Virginia.

Anne has a JD from Columbia University and clerked for the Honorable Juan Torruella on the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the HonorableNathaniel M. Gorton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts in Boston. She received her BA degree, magna cum laude, in 2001 from Harvard University, where she majored in Government. After graduating from college, she was a management strategy consultant for the Monitor Group, as well as the executive director of Inspire, a nonprofit that provided financial and management advice to nonprofits and charter schools.
